updated 8/1/2022
With over 30 years of experience in Women’s Healthcare, we recognize the importance of continuing to serve you reliably and safely during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We write to assure you that since the onset, we’ve taken measures to continue to provide you with industry-leading guidance and service.
- Patients will be allowed one (1) guest/support person of any age in the office. For newborns, adolescents, or adult patients who require a caretaker, one adult may also accompany the patient. All persons (3+ years old) entering the office must wear a mask, covering both nose and mouth, during the entire duration of the visit.
- If you are scheduled for an appointment and are sick with any type of respiratory symptoms or fever on the day of your appointment, please call our office nurse before coming to your appointment.
- New patients must have their paperwork completed BEFORE your arrival. We will not be accepting hard copies of paperwork at this time. Patients who arrive at the office without completing the new patient paperwork may be rescheduled.
- All patients will be screened prior to their appointment for chills, fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, cold/flu symptoms, loss of smell/taste, and body aches. Symptomatic patients will likely be referred for a telemedicine visit if needed.
MASKS / FACE-COVERINGS
-
- You should arrive at the office wearing a Face Covering. Home-made and commercial masks are okay. All patients and visitors will be required to be masked while in our office. Please refrain from the use of Masks with exhalation valves (see image below)
Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare will continue to maintain our standard of excellence as it relates to sanitation techniques. Our routine cleaning and sanitation standards already meet CDC and other regulatory agency guidelines. Additionally, we’ve put in place a heightened disinfection response program.
There will be a limited amount of appointments per day to allow extra cleaning and sanitation for the examination rooms. Please be patient with us as we take extra care for all of us.
We welcome your questions and thank you for your cooperation in continuing to stay at home whenever possible, continuing social distancing, washing your hands, wearing a mask in public, and working together to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic that has so deeply affected us all.
