Ijeoma Ibezue, MD
Dr. Ijeoma Ibezue joined Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare in 2022. Originally from Fairburn, GA, Dr. Ibezue (pronounced, E-bay-z-way), or simply “Dr. I'', received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Emory University, here in Atlanta GA. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency as the Administrative Chief Resident at the West Virginia University, School of Medicine, where her research included delayed cord blood clamping and cervical agenesis.
Dr. Ibezue believes in the importance of patient education and shared decision making and she understands the need for assisting underserved communities as everyone deserves to receive quality healthcare. She takes special interest in high-risk pregnancies, diabetes and high-blood pressure related issues.
Dr. Ibezue has an energetic and welcoming personality that makes you feel as if you’ve been friends for years. She is compassionate, caring, and committed to women’s health. She is a great addition to our medical practice and is accepting new patients.
