Dr. Whitney Lankford, MD
Dr. Whitney Lankford joined Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare in 2021. A native of Fort Washington, Maryland, Dr. Whitney Lankford has now called Atlanta, Georgia home for the past decade. After graduating from Clark Atlanta University with a B.S. in Biology, she completed her medical doctorate and residency training, in obstetrics and gynecology, at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Lankford is committed to Holistic High Value healthcare and believes patient autonomy enhances that patient experience. She has an interest in preventative care in high risk minority populations and is focused on improving outcomes within maternal morbidity and mortality in Georgia.
She participates in educational and community advocacy opportunities through various outreach initiatives. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and participates in programs aimed at improving the well-being of adolescent females through initiatives aimed at bettering healthcare, self-esteem, problem solving, and leadership. In her free time she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, live music, planning parties and collecting the latest sneakers! She believes community leadership, and public support , coupled with education can bring fruitful rewards that can greatly impact the community and ultimately improve outcomes for patients.
Dr. Lankford is a tremendous addition to our medical practice and is currently accepting new patients.
